Novella includes book discovery, author pages, and discussion guides alongside its reading circles. The React client uses React Router and Vite, with Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, shadcn/ui, Lucide, and Framer Motion. A NestJS backend uses PostgreSQL and Redis. AWS hosting includes an Application Load Balancer, with CDK infrastructure and GitHub CI. PostHog handles analytics and Sentry tracks errors. The site also includes PWA support and Open Graph metadata.
